Peter O'Brien

Golf Course Superintendent

Peter O’Brien is the Golf Course Superintendent here at LeBaron Hills. He began his career in golf by working at Hatherly Country Club in 1996 in his hometown of Scituate, MA before moving on to Pinehill’s Golf Club for the 2002 - 2004 seasons. From there he was hired as the Assistant Superintendent at Indian Pond Country Club where he served for nine years during which time, he also earned his A.S. in Turfgrass Management from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture and B.S. in Plant, Soil, and Insect Science from UMass Amherst. Three years as the Assistant Superintendent at Brae Burn Country Club preceded his two-year term as Superintendent at Cape Cod Country Club in East Falmouth. His high standards for golf course conditions have been borne equally from his years spent at some of the premiere clubs in the state as well as from the pedigree of Superintendents he has been fortunate enough to assist. Peter thrives on membership feedback and has long instructed his crew to do the same, so please don't hesitate to stop him when you see him to discuss anything on the course. Living in Buzzards Bay with his wife, four young children, and his semi-retired goose dog, Cayleigh. He's looking forward to seeing all of you out on the course and having a great time.
